Ged(i)(a)chten Notebooks

I have always felt greatly fascinated by the world of the unconscious mind, from early on the surreality of the dream became very apparent to me. As I have always been a sleepwalker, talker and heavy dreamer. I vividly remember giving one of my first ever speeches in school, a ten year old talking about lucid dreaming and nightmares. Through the years I have written down the stories, scenarios and sentences from my dreams, looking back they seem like chaotic puzzle almost impossible to solve. But besides the dream state there are moments right before going to sleep where I have experienced a state of almost sleeping or almost unconscious, where my body seems asleep but my head keeps racing. I started documenting these moments in a collection I call “Ged(i)(a)chten”.
